Spring break this year was one for the books! Our family set sail aboard the Disney Fantasy, and I’m still glowing from all the pixie dust, magic, and unforgettable moments we shared at sea.

Why We Chose the Disney Fantasy

The Fantasy is one of Disney Cruise Line’s largest ships, known for its 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, packed with immersive Disney experiences, Broadway-style shows, and island stops like Castaway Cay (Disney’s private island).

As a mom of two boys (ages 15 and 6), I can confidently say: this cruise had something for every age. From the AquaDuck water coaster to pirate night fireworks, no one was ever bored.

Our Itinerary & Ports of Call

We chose a 5-night Bahamas itinerary, which included:

• Nassau, Bahamas

• Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

• Disney Castaway Cay

Each port was a mix of relaxing beach time and kid-friendly excursions. We swam with rays, we went snorkeling, built sandcastles, and explored tropical towns — all with Disney's signature magic along the way.

Onboard Magic: What We Loved Most

Here are just a few highlights:

• Rotational Dining: We dined in different themed restaurants each night — Animator’s Palate was our favorite!

• Oceaneer Club & Vibe: My 6-year-old loved the Marvel area, and my teen made fast friends in the teen club.

• Broadway-Quality Shows: Aladdin and Disney's Believe stole our hearts.

• Pirate Night: Dress-up, fireworks at sea, and all the swashbuckling you can imagine!
